My interest lies in using technology as a catalyst for positive change and enhancing it to make people’s lives better.
I’m a knowledge management specialist, interested in the cognitive science of how people learn and interact with websites – specifically intranets. I support employees and SharePoint site owners, and conduct UX research. My goal is to make the right information readily accessible, to the right people, for the best possible user experience.
I specialize in shared information environments and optimize information searches. I’m also a former computer teacher who’s concerned with the regulation of consumer data – digital footprints and privacy laws. Additionally, I have experience training adult learners, and mentoring them in content curation on intranet platforms (SharePoint and Jive Software), as well as LinkedIn.
I contribute to an organization by
▷ Streamlining the flow of information internally for a better employee experience
▷ Training end-users to help them curate and optimize their online communities
▷ Designing, implementing, and operationalizing strategic use cases
▷ Bridging the communication gap between technology and customer needs
▷ Facilitating improved cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing
